The Adelco Spyder II delivers the ultimate in quality and simplifies the process of creating screen masks. Perfect for a busy screen room or any screen printer needing to eliminate film, reduce labour and speed up turnaround time, our high definition device can image screen over two square ft per minute, for ultrafast throughput.
The Spyder II uses heated wax ink, with a robust phase change ink jet head technology, to place a high density image directly on to a coated screen. The system can print upto 1200 dpi, allowing halftone frequencies up to 110 dpi.
There are two variants of the Adelco Spyder II, the DTS 30 which supports standard frames up to 30” x 40”, while the larger DTS 52 supports frame sizes up to 56” x 50”.

With easy to use touch screen controls, the streamlined interface makes the Adelco Spyder II very intuitive. We have revised the electronics in the new Spyder model, to provide a simplified structure, improved performance control and long term reliability.
Spyder II RIP software options include Exile Screen maker RIP for windows or a fully featured Harlequin RIP for Max OSX or Windows both provide fast and reliable processing of Postscript and PDF files. The Spyder II also accepts 1-bit Tiff files from any other RIP so it will easily fit into an exisiting pre-press workflow.
The Spyder II boasts increased speed, resulting in improved throughput, greater precision and production efficiency, while at the same time the enhanced dot placement improves print quality further.
